Understanding How Performance Impacts Profits
|
Opening the books involves more than simply passing out financial
statements and expecting employees to read them. Our process involves the three steps:
Educate
Unless your company is a CPA firm, chances are your employees don’t
understand or concern themselves with the company’s financial health. We’ll teach your team the basics about how
the company makes and loses money, and how their everyday actions impact quarterly results.
Empower
We’ll give
your employees tangible examples of how their specific behavior positively and negatively impact company performance. We’ll
also seek their suggestions for how to improve results. Our experience has shown us that often, the best ideas come from the
non-management-level employees.
Ongoing Feedback
By providing your employees with daily, weekly, or monthly feedback of
financial results, they can see on a day-to-day basis how they (and the company) are doing, and then adjust their performance
accordingly.
